The IR Contact Committee is a new development for FIAPF. It will hold its first meeting in 2004, during the Cannes Film Festival. (venue and dates to be confirmed).

The objective of the IRCC is to act as an informal platform for producers' organisations to exchange information and jointly strategise on issues relating to contractual and collective agreements with talent, technicians and crew. High on the agenda for 2004 will be FIAPF's strategy in relation to the demands of actors' unions for a WIPO Treaty on performers rights.
